Contrary to seeing a medical specialist, you do not need a referral to see an orthodontist.
At what age should my child see an orthodontist?
Usually by age 7 years old or before if the dentist recommends it.
Am I a candidate for Invisalign?
Most patients of all ages can be treated with Invisalign. The cases must be carefully selected by the orthodontist.
At what age can I have surgery?
Surgery can sometimes be done as early as 14 years old. What is most important is to be sure that the patient has stopped growing.
